I haven't been on this thing in forever.
I'm planning to start posting chapters of a story I've started a while back... so look forward to that, I guess.
I've been insanely busy lately. Final assignments and exam prep. Everything hits you all at once, I guess. I've been buried with work for a while, no more social life. The sacrifices one makes for school. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with this program, I'm still deciding.
I've also been kind of depressed. I recently found out a friend back home is really sick. A friend I grew up with. My friends are reassuring me that she will be okay, but it's really frightening. We're not close anymore, but before I left we were starting to see each other again. I just want her to be okay. I want to see her but I can't, I'm too far away. I wish I was back home.
And that's what's going on in my life.
